One tap, no editing, and a lot of people who like it.
Dazz Cam's pitch is that you should not have to post-edit anything: pick a camera, press the shutter, done. It has a large library of cameras and effects, it does video, and it has one of the biggest audiences in the category.
We agree with the pitch. CAM135 is built the same way: the look is on the photograph the moment the shutter fires, not applied afterwards. Where we part ways is on what gets loaded, how you control how much of it there is, what it is called, what it costs, and which phones it runs on.

03Dazz Cam on Android
If you searched for Dazz Cam on Android, read this first.
Dazz Cam's own listing is iPhone and iPad only. The search results for “dazz cam android” are mostly other things wearing the name.
Apps with near-identical names and icons sit on Google Play, published by other companies. APK mirror sites offer “Dazz Cam for Android” downloads that the publisher did not make. Side-loading a camera app from a mirror hands it your photos and your camera permission, and nobody has checked what it does with them.
CAM135 is on Google Play under our own publisher name, with the same 11 films, 23 cameras and $19.99 price as the iPhone version. If you want the vintage camera Dazz Cam users have on iPhone, on an Android phone, from a store that vetted it, that is the honest answer.

05Who should stay with Dazz Cam
Not everybody should switch.
If you have a Dazz camera you love and it is paid for, keep it. If the size of its effects library is the point for you, keep it. CAM135 is narrower on purpose: real films, real cameras, one dial, one price.

- Not as of 2 September 2026. The Dazz Cam listing on the App Store is for iPhone and iPad only and does not mention Android or Google Play. Searching for a Dazz Cam Android download mostly turns up look-alike apps with similar names and APK mirror sites. Installing an APK from a mirror is a real security risk. CAM135 is on Google Play, published by us.
- Is Dazz Cam free?
- The download is free. Getting all of it is not: Dazz Pro is a subscription or a $19.99 one-time purchase, and several cameras and lenses are additional purchases of $0.99 to $2.99 each on top, according to the App Store listing. CAM135's download is also free, and its one $19.99 purchase includes everything.
- Is there a Dazz Cam alternative without a subscription?
- CAM135. All 11 films and 23 cameras are a one-time $19.99. The only subscription in the app is optional cloud backup of your photos, which the films do not need.
- Does CAM135 do the disposable camera look Dazz Cam is known for?
- Yes. The Fuji QuickSnap is one of the 23 cameras, with the hard flash, the plastic-lens softness and Superia's colour. The Holga does the daylight version and is free. There is a whole page on it.
- Should I switch?
- If you love a particular Dazz camera and it is already paid for, probably not. If you want the films and cameras named after the real ones, one dial instead of many settings, Android, or one price for everything, try the free tier of CAM135 and compare the same photo.
